Real Patient Success Stories

Dr Trent is truely unbelievable at what he does. I can’t thank him enough for not only how he helped me physically, but the support and time he gave me with the symptoms I was struggling with. If you’re looking for a practitioner who actually cares and doesn’t see you as just a number, then you can’t do better than Dr Trent. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me Dr!

Nothing short of life changing. I suffered from TMJ and multiple concussions for over 20 years. My mood has really lifted, I sleep better and fall asleep easier, my family and even my job has noticed a difference in how I conduct myself. Dr. Lofthouse's confidence and professionalism combined with his understanding of biological functions made the experience enjoyable and informative. Overly satisfied with the investment I made in Trent and myself. 10/10

I visited Dr Lofthouse this past week and can attest to the efficacy of this treatment modality. Trent is one of the friendliest and most caring clinicians, he has extensive knowledge on concussion and cranial anatomy and he possesses a natural instinct for his craft. I feel fortunate to have such a talented individual close by in Vancouver BC.

I completed a concussion program at Coast Therapy with Dr. Trent Lofthouse, and I am honestly blown away by the results. I went into day one with hope but zero expectations. After living with the effects of my first concussion and subsequent head trauma for 23 years, I had learned not to expect too much. In just one week, even family noticed visible changes. My face is aligned again. My nose had been broken and out of joint for years, and I had simply adapted to it. What is incredible is that this program addressed something much deeper, a bone at the base of my skull that my brain sits on. The sphenoid bone had been misaligned for decades, and my body adjusted to that dysfunction as if it were normal. After four hands on sessions, the shift has been dramatic. I woke up the last day morning without a migraine for the first time in years. No brain fog. No nausea. I am sleeping deeply for seven to nine hours without waking up in the middle of the night. Breathing through my nose feels open and clear in a way I honestly forgot was possible. So far its been 1 month of no migraines and no brain fog when I wake up. There’s a concussion assessment called the SCAT5 that’s scored out of 132. Most people without a concussion typically score between 7 and 10. Since my first test with my physiotherapist in March 2024, my scores have consistently been over 110. For almost a year, I’ve been living in triple digits. The lowest I had ever reached was 91, and that felt like such a breakthrough at the time. Before starting treatment last week, I tested myself and scored 116. That number felt heavy. Two days after the last treatment day I scored 89. Three-days later it dropped as low as 32. For the first time in a long time, I’m seeing real, measurable change. After months of feeling stuck, discouraged, and wondering if this was just my “new normal,” this drop feels like hope. It feels like progress. It feels like getting a part of myself back. And that is a huge win. For anyone dealing with lingering concussion symptoms and thinking this is just your new normal, it does not have to be. I feel hopeful for the first time in a very long time. Onward and upward in healing. Highly recommend Dr Lofthouse for concussion recovery.
